About the Sport

As part of the National Gunfight League, Gunslingers of Texas has authorized access to non-lethan training ammunition called "Simunition".  This platform provides the most realistic firearm experience without the risk of serious injury or deaith.

Like a Range Safety Officer, our Gunfight Marshals are all certified firearm safety experts that ensure the matches are run safely while maintaining the intensity of the sport.  When it comes to dueling, the word of the Marshals is final.

Our design for the dueling zone is a fully-contained system made of Lexan (same material used for race car windshields).  This material ensures that the rounds fired by the competitors is 100% contained and poses no danger to the audience.
